Yonha Adrabi - Coach (GK Specialist)

Yonha Adrabi comes to Futbol Movement with years of high level playing and coaching experience at various levels.

Adrabi has been a goalkeeping guru, most recently sharing his expertise with Albion SC in San Diego with their professional and youth academy teams. As the goalkeeper coach for their professional team, he helped lead the goalkeepers to the highest number of clean sheets and best goals against average (GAA) in the NPSL during the 2019 season. Albion SC would become the West Region Champion (1st in club history) and make a NPSL National Semifinal appearance, also 1st in club history.

Prior to that, he spent the previous four seasons as an assistant at Wheaton College, a Division III program in Massachusetts. At Wheaton, he helped the program to 56 wins and one NCAA Tournament appearance as the squad's primary goalkeeper coach. Along side his position with Wheaton College, Adrabi spent time as an academy coach and the Director of Goalkeeping for Liverpool FC International Academy Massachusetts.

Adrabi has returned to the west coast after growing up in Hollywood, Calif. and playing a pair of seasons at Santa Barbara City College, where he won the Western State Conference Champion in 2010, while also being named to the All-WSC First Team in 2010 & 2011. He would finish his career as a 2 year starter for the University of Hawai'i-Hilo (NCAA Division 2) while earning his Bachelor’s of Art degree in Communications.

Adrabi will begin his third season with the UC Irvine Men's Soccer coaching staff as an assistant this year.
