Her coaching career began at Esperanza High School, where she led the girls' junior varsity team from 2004 to 2007. She then moved to Fullerton Rangers FC, where she coached from 2005 to 2012. 

From 2012 to 2017, she took on multiple roles at Redlands East Valley High School, coaching both boys' and girls' varsity cross country and track, as well as the boys' junior varsity soccer team. During this time, she also coached for Empire Soccer (2012-2014) and Legends FC Riverside (2014-2017). 

Her success continued at San Bernardino Valley College, a nationally ranked program. As an assistant coach from 2013 to 2016, she was instrumental in guiding the Wolverines to three consecutive conference championships. After a brief but successful tenure as the Assistant Coach at Peninsula College in Washington, where she helped lead the team to a NWAC State Championship and was named part of the coaching staff of the year, she returned to Valley College. In her final two seasons as the offensive/goalkeeper coach, the team finished as state runners-up. 

As a player, she was a member of the Cal State Fullerton team from 2004 to 2006, where she won two consecutive Big West Conference Championships and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament in 2005.
